Co-Creation Report

The second stage of CItEE 2023 took place in April at the Eden Campus of the University of St Andrews in Guardbridge, as well as online. Our fantastic students dived deep into exploration of the challenges with external stakeholders as well as colleagues from across the University. Since complex challenges are best addressed in diverse interdisciplinary groups they worked with experts from St Leonards School, Police Scotland’s Violence Reduction Unit, the NHS, and Scottish Care as well as colleagues from the Global Office, Careers, Student Services, the Chaplaincy, and the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development (CEED).

It was fascinating to see how new ideas emerged through exploring the problems. To further help, co-creation students took part in an education session to understand the opportunities for change that can be brought about with the University.
What next?
During the summer students continue co-creating their ideas to address the challenges and prepare for pitching their creative ways to address them to the Directors of Teaching and Directors of Impact and Innovation.
