Strategy

Students are first asked to consider the big issues which they think they face now and in their future before these are filtered and a number of topics are selected. These ideas are taken forward through a number of key events.

Event 1 – Co-Initiation – (10th March 2023)

Short-listed entries are taken forward to be discussed at the Co-Initiation Event where representatives of businesses, charities and social enterprises will join students and staff of the University. The ‘Big Challenges’ will be showcased and together, we will discuss ideas and steps that can be taken towards solutions. Most of this event will be dedicated to debate leading to collaboration on ideas to address the identified challenges. Prizes will be awarded to all short-listed entries.

Event 2 – Co-Creation (April 2023)

Before our second day, students will work on some more thoughts and we’ll take these and use design thinking methodologies to think creatively and start developing the ‘Proposals for Change’.

Event 3 – Co-Evolution (September 2023)

At our final event, students will present their proposals to key members of the university including the Directors of Teaching and Impact & Innovation.
